Chance-Vought F4U-1A serial number unknown, tactical number 13, personalized as "Friday 13th", VF-17, Torokina Field, November 1943, then at Ondonga, February 1944.
I have changed only the skin a little, (tactical number, personalisation, victories, added the fumes of the guns).
Here is the original read-me file from Claudio Wilches.
Without the great work done by the people mentioned here, this corsair was to remain only in my mind.
Colonel Damir P. Fillen.

This new Corsair 3dz features a new fuselage, with much longer nose (the Corsair is also known as Hose Nose), a little enlarged tailplane, raised canopy and correct load points level - thanks to Captain Kurt. On the original 3dz, the tanks and bombs looks floating away from their places. Thanks Kurt! News are the wing views too, with a fully non-mirrored skin and a redesigned cockpit. I worked very hard on the references to achieve my goal. It has the instruments from Keith Rogers (very nice bud!), with the flap leveler handle painted on it. The ever present bullet-proof glass panel is on its place (the F4U-1/A/D had a rounded windscreen without any armour, so this was a better solution), a new gunsight and aerial mast view and a rearview mirror. The cockpit colors was changed from the Migge's original work - Thanks again old Bean! Is important to say that Captain Kurt fixed the ugly "black triangle" that apears on the canopy. Needless to say that this new Corsair is a courtesy from the people of EAW, that spirit of cooperation that makes this game the even better! To fly this little gem, unzip all the .dat, .3dz and .tpc files to the game's directory overwriting the old ones. To have the new wing view and full cockpit, you MUST drop all the files, because there are many things like the rearview mirror and others that is shared by some other files. This product is a freeware, so anyone is fully authorized to use, copy and change it anytime anywhere. Thanks again to the artists that help me a lot in this work: Captain Kurt, Migge and Keith Rogers and Jamie Richards (aka "Fritigern"), the man who did the 3dz from wich I worked over. My deepest regards to you, guys! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------cwrio@novanet.com.br - Claudio Wilches--------------
